...BECOMES THE LISTENING (2005)
Like all traveling shows, the circus has left town. The Rock 'n' Roll Worship Circus, that is. But don't worry just yet; they've changed their name to reflect a whole new musical exploration. Much like the fog of concert dry ice, The Listening seeps into the ears. Or perhaps the cover-art analogy works better than my contrived image: a dead dandelion, full of seeds, listening for that wind to carry its influence across a huge expanse. Full review...

THE LISTENING (2004) EP
The art of listening has diminished in our ADD-society of channel-flippers and MP3-player addicts. But the ability to listen-to pause and reflect-needs to be embraced once again. The artwork of The Rock 'n' Roll Worship Circus' newest project shows a blurred white image underneath the CD, with the question, "did you hear that?" A Beautiful Glow contains songs from numerous genres, and its uniqueness stands out amongst other worship recordings. Full review...

Ladies and Gentlemen, imagine a place of life. A place of mystery. A place of answers. A place of joy. And a place of rest and peace." And so the pace continues to develop, culminating in the list of thirteen song titles. Among the collection of flying trapeze art on the CD jacket, I find myself wondering why this band chooses to call themselves the Rock and Roll Worship Circus. Full review...

LIVE AT TOMFEST (1999) EP
"Cool. Dig it. Let's do it." This is the call Gabriel Wilson, front man of a worship band from Evangel Christian Fellowship in Longview, WA, gives to begin the set at Tom Fest '98. He begins leading 2,000 people in a worship service of proportions often only seen in traditional church services. Full review...
