STRANGELY LOOKING FORWARD (2004) It's only taken seven years together, but from the sound of the latest project from Daniel's Window, they're finally settling into a groove. Strangely Looking Forward represents a marked improvement in the strength of the band's music. While retaining the strong vocals of previous works, the new album tones down the "hip-hop" aspect of the group and focuses on tighter hooks and better writing. Full review... |

ILLUMINATE (2003) Some time ago, I reviewed a compilation CD from Devotion Music entitled Worship Extreme Vol. I where I complained about compilation albums, because they take music out of context. One of the contributors to that project was a group, previously unknown to me, named Daniel's Window. With that in mind, I respectfully submit Illuminate as exhibit A for the prosecution.
